lionel hutz Posted November 27, 2016 Share Posted November 27, 2016 Medieval Total War Sid Meier's Civilisation II Star Wars Battlefront II (2005 for PS2/PC) F1 2010 (The immersive-ness was unbelievable for an F1 Game) Halo 3 F1 2013 (The Classic Edition expansion pack was amazing, #BrandsHatchinUnder60Secs) Championship Manager 03-04 Rome: Total War (Medieval II is basically a copy of this) Forza Motorsport 3 Fifa 96 (I had it on it's own console, it was fucking weird but it had United on it so it's better than Fifa 17) Cricket 03, F1 05 and a couple of other games come close. How to compare an old school Championship Manager to a modern RPG, how to compare The Last of Us to a classic Mega Drive platformer? Think I'm going to end up ignoring any kind of technical considerations and purely boil it down to how much enjoyment I got from each of them - ie what are my favourite games without considering whether it constitutes being the greatest in terms of innovation etc. Going to be fascinating to see how this list turns out considering the varied range of platforms and genres posters here are interested in. Eventually went for… 1. Dragon Age Origins 2. Football Manager 2008 3. FIFA 17 4. Dragon age II 5. Pokemon Blue 6. Tiger Woods PGA Tour 2004 7. Star Wars: Episode 1 – The Phantom Menace 8. Piloting was smoother and there was more forgiveness in hitting the walls. Wipeout 3: Special Edition was Wipeout 3 plus remastered versions of the best tracks from 1 and 2(097).
