'Unlike the home side, Greenock Morton have history in this tournament, having stormed to success in the glorious year of 1922.'

It's still going to be an absolutely tremendous cup tie; the next week can't come soon enough.

Quitongo will have those Beith centre backs on toast if they don't break his leg in the first five minutes. Two old war horses who are ideal for heading long balls in the Juniors but any pace or direct running and they'll be in big trouble.

Morton should win fairly comfortably but it's a great cup tie. I'd have definitely gone to this if I wasn't out of the country.

Judging by some of the posts by some of the uneducated Morton fans on their own forum , they are being a tad disrespectful to Beith. They have no idea they way the Junior game has changed over the years and gone are the days of the "hatchet" men . As any other Junior fan would admit Beith are one of the best footballing sides at their level at the moment. They are flying this season having lost only one game - at Auchinleck losing to a last minute goal after playing over half an hour with an outfield player in goals after a sending off. If you cast your mind back Beith gave Airdrie the fright of their lives and their fans were of similar thoughts as the morton fans, yes Beith got beaten but it took 2 games after Beith being 2 up at Airdire, and Airdire won reply 4-3. Yes Morton should win as they are the full time professional side but upsets can happen, it has all the makings of a cracking cup tie . wee ground packed to rafters , fans almost so close they can touch the players and a slope on the park that most players wont have seen the like of before. No pressure on Beith lets see how the Morton boys cope with the pressure.

Looking forward to what is a free shot for us against a proffesinal outfit who are flying at the moment. If we lose heavy it's expected so nothing to lose.

The ground will be packed out so will be a good atmosphere for the players to enjoy.

I  hope we can make a game of it this coming saturday but it will be tough against the best morton team they have had in long time with some great young talent that will surely move on to a higher level.

I hope you enjoy your away day at Bellsdale but succumb to a shock defeat.

Scenes await. No fucking about, get the strongest team possible on the park and only think about resting players if we get a comfortable lead. For all that we're a considerably better team now than we were then, I can't see Duffy taking any chances when he was the one who oversaw the Spartans debacle.

Looking forward to this. We should be putting a full strength team out for this. Don't want another Spartan's defeat.

Where's best to park near the ground? I'd imagine this might be a bit of a nightmare due to the bigger crowd.

Coming in from Paisley Lochwinnoch direction  follow the main road in to the town The park is in the middle of the town a good half mile from the bypass  Try and find a road on your LHS and park on it and walk down the hill to the ground even if it takes you 10 mins it will be worth it at the end  Anybody coming  by train from Paisley get off at Glengarnock cross the bridge come out of station and bus stop is a 10sec walk across the road A lot of the the time there will be a bus waiting if not it will not be long at all until one arrives   Every bus stops at Beith which is only 2 mile up the road
