Richey Edwards
Hungary capped him in my FM17 Ayr save. Scotland better pick him before Hungary come calling.
Miguel Sanchez
We've got too many left backs, can we not just build the defence out of them? Tierney - Robertson - Kingsley - .... Paterson
Gunz
Never seen him play but Leeds vice captain Liam Cooper. Surely worth giving him a shot? Don't imagine it can get worse than Hanley.
Gordopolis
Souttar is the obvious one. Like Paterson, he's not ready, but we need to take a risk in that area so he has a better chance of being ready when we next have meaningful qualifiers to play. Hanley is here to stay, loathe him or not. TBF, I think his lack of club action is just highlighting his weaknesses - he's a bit better than he's shown in these last few games. So, brace yourselves, cos Souttar and Hanley is the CB pairing that might see us through the next 10 years

Despite my reservations around Souttar as a defender, giving him and Cooper a run of games together to see how it goes can't do any harm really. eez-eh
Surely some combination of Kingsley, Martin, Greer, Berra, Cooper, Caulker or Mulgrew is better than anything consisting of a bench-warming Grant Hanley? Strachan is so set in his "club mentality" he's not even willing to try find out.

Since his talents have been recognised with a move, he seems to have regressed significantly. He was a pretty good player for us not too long ago. Would like Blackburn to take him back ASAP. SpoonTon
Liam Cooper is struggling to get into the Leeds team at the moment. He's just another completely average (at best) defender at that level.

Guest Asap
Play like Wales do and play Tierney inside Robertson as a third cb but let Robertson concentrate on attacking more. Wales play Davies/Taylor beside each other and compliment each other well.

No Scotland too but he is an utter bombscare. The list of potential defenders in the Scottish Leagues is hilarious. Not one of them worth over 50k in transfer value. It was only in a friendly. Friendlies don't count as being locked down to a national team. Only once you've played competitively for them. See Diego Costa playing for Brazil as another example. Thanks for that, it makes sense now. Caulker's not a bad player but there's no point if he's not keen.
