dogmc
And you thought it was over!http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/38921362 So let's get this straight... They asked to wear poppies on their shirts FIFA said no The SFA and FA said they'd do it anyway FIFA held their hands up and warned that there would be sanctions if they did SFA and FA did it anyway They were sanctioned Now they're appealing it? So despite the thing happening being exactly what they were told would happen, they somehow think they'll get away with it? Top stuff chaps, really is Ffs....how much cash is being wasted on this farce?? Hopefully fifa up the punishment for a spurious appeal n kick us out of wc altogether. resk
I assume the SFA are doing it because their big pals in England have ordered them to.
NorthernLights
Seems like FIFA are bored of the whole situation... https://stv.tv/sport/football/1398444-fifa-to-allow-players-to-wear-poppies-in-end-to-stand-off/
Dunning1874
Shitebag behaviour from FIFA really, it quite blatantly breaks the rules. Unless of course they're going to change the rules and they'll now have no issue with, say, Serbia wearing armbands to commemorate their war dead when playing Croatia, Bosnia or Albania, or Japan having a display to remember the dead of WWII before a game with China.
