trainspotter
Trying not to live up to my username here, however.... It occurred to me yesterday that Owen Coyle has managed Burnley, Bolton and now Blackburn. Further back, Ally MacLeod managed Ayr, Aberdeen and Airdrieonians. Has any manager, north or south of the border, managed more teams whose name starts with the same letter? Are there any others, apart from Gus MacPherson (Queen of the South and Queens Park) who can claim a clean sweep of a particular letter, again either side of the border? tamthebam
Sammy McIlroy managed NORTHwich Victoria and NORTHern Ireland as well as Macclesfield and Morecambe. The odd one out in his career is Stockport County...
