Also doesn't cost an arm & a leg like the international hotels (Leela, Interconuntal, Sheraton etc. next to the international terminal). Nice rooftop bar/restaurant with good views. It's more just for a stop over before flying home hence the location near the airport. gpo Posted February 5, 2017 Author Share Posted February 5, 2017 Just back. Mumbai was mental but enjoyable. Diplomat hotel just behind the Taj hotel was very poor but good location. Afternoon Tea at the Taj was lovely and we had our drinks free of charge. Good pub next to our hotel was the Social. Great street food etc. The Orchid hotel was great. Loved the rooftop pool and snacks with great view of the airport. We were only there for a stopover on the way home after 3 weeks and it's was lovely. Stayed in Green Park area of Palolem Beach in South Goa. Just do good. It was like having our private beach and bar/restaurant 10 feet from our beach hut. Hope to go back again next year.
