Dons_1988
Is it too short notice to organise a flag to go across the swathes of empty seats in our end that says 'HIYA DAVIE, HIYA PAL'
lubo_blaha
They may be absolutely cruising the league but it's nice to know that the Celtic support are still perma-seething about McInnes and our attendances.
The OP
Follow Celtic FC Tickets@CelticFCTickets Tickets for the Betfred Cup Final are now sold out. Thank you as always for your great support (I) Posted 7 hours ago, so it took about an hour and a half from my post for the extras to be snapped up by the chosen few. Pretty embarrassing tbh. If any Celtic fans still need a ticket I'd recommend going to Aberdeen to see if they're giving them away free with The Evening Express yet
jmothecat
how bitter are Celtic fans? Anyone had their tickets arrive yet? No sign of mine.
The OP
Just now, jmothecat said: how bitter are Celtic fans? Anyone had their tickets arrive yet? No sign of mine. Here fishy fishy. I've got a Royal Mail signature required card which I presume are the tickets. Apparently they can't just put them through my letterbox because that'd be incredibly problematic. jmothecat
Mine arrived yesterday No sign of mine. Getting slightly anxious. Hope I don't have to sign for them as I'll be working through the week. Would explain the extortionate £7 mailing fee.

jmothecat
It's recorded delivery mate so you will. Ugh, needless complication. Why can't they just put them through the post like usual?
Dons_1988
Ugh, needless complication. Why can't they just put them through the post like usual? It's because hampden don't reprint them if they get lost or stolen so if it got lost in standard post you'd be up shit creek
The OP
I understand that you get charged £3.50 a ticket because a signature is required because Hampden or the SPFL or whoever don't offer the facility to reprint tickets if they're misdelivered. Dons_1988
Seems strange. Getting nervous that I haven't had mine arrive yet. You'll be fine. The ticket office opened later on Monday to process the backlog. They'll be going out in batches. Wouldn't fret

starryfish
Why don't Hampden reprint missing tickets? Just a standard don't care attitude?

RussellAnderson
Why don't Hampden reprint missing tickets? Just a standard don't care attitude? They're not barcode scanned, it's just some dude on the turnstiles ripping it. They've no way of knowing if you've already entered so if they went around reprinting tickets there could be doubles in the ground etc. The fact that Aberdeen (and Celtic I believe) both have very efficient e ticketing services with barcode scanners that reject you if the ticket has already been swiped puts the Hampden thing in perspective. Actually if I recall correctly, it could be an SFA thing. The Scotland match v Ireland at Celtic Park there were guys stood behind the electronic ticket reader things ripping tickets because the SFA hadn't sorted e-tickets. Dons_1988
The fact they only lease it may prevent them from introducing it.Don't know, pretty amateurish though.
resk
Ah well, we can blame the 7 pound fee if we don't sell out. Perfect.
