Not having a go at Nocko, but I disagree that Hills still provide a good service. I imagine most people are like myself, and want to study the odds before making a selection. The odds aren't posted here any more which is fair enough, it's only a forum, but there is also nothing posted in the shops. You have to get the teller to go through the computer listings and find the odds for you. Not really practical, especially with a queue of neanderthals behind you waiting to put a line on the 1.5pm at Doncaster that starts in 30 seconds.

Also, having to take a treble just because it's junior football. They either want Junior betting or they don't. They need to make up their minds.

He is correct in my opinion Owen.

The tellers are completely clueless now without the posters.

I was phoned through when doing a treble and adding a senior game !!  "not sure if that is allowed" " the rules keep changing"  Absolutely horse pishh on both counts, but the tart has worked in the shop for 3 whole years, so what do I know !!

Anyway todays bets

Pumpherston are 5/6 for their visit to struggling Dufftown. Anyone that knows me is aware of my contempt for the North Region Juniors. All the best players are in the Highland league. Anyway as the Elton is from that neck of the woods, he has made Pumphy a 2/9 shot.
Forfar West End entertain another North team Culter. The visitors are not a patch on how they used to be. West end are attractive at 8/11 while a 4/9 shot at McB.
Jeanfield Swifts entertain St Andrews in an all east tie. They are a league above the struggling visitors. Another apparent 8/11 gift from Coral that is a 4/11 shot at McBookie.
Saints cost me over £600 by coming back from 2-0 to draw 2-2 in a league game last week. This is a much tougher fixture.
Treble is 9/2 at Coral and only 11/8 at McBookie. You could add Tranent 1/6 and Sauchie 1/8 to boost it. Both are 1/14 at McB.

At Hills I have a big value treble £40 on Blantyre 7/4 home to Tayport, Forth 4/7 at Coupar & Glasgow Perthshire a huge 10/3 at Kinnoull

Seems like Hill's are losing interest in the juniors.

To go into a shop and have to ask the cashier the odds of every game your interested in is just not worth the bother.

McBookie's the only real option for punters.

Wow wow calm down guys.

Hills losing interest?? Only thing changed is the poster and that's because I'm snowed under at moment so can't commit to doing the odds every week on the Monday or Tuesday.

Do the shops you go to have Customer Access Terminals as I know the Non League odds are on these.

Al - for clarification you can add a senior side.

I can only apologise if you guys don't get great service all the time.

I know exactly all the rules Owen.

Unfortunately with little girl tellers the customer is NEVER right.

I go to a machine so dont have to bother the girl till I place.

It is massively helpful you posting the odds on here at least though.

As an aside why were Bonnyrigg dismissed by virtually all the books today ?

Fancy laying what odds if I go to collect my £749.04 tomorrow

Not settled 6/4

Not enough cash in the till 1/3

Come back tomorrow 2/1

Result settled in error as postponed/void etc 7/1

Whatsap or text message to you while your off duty 9/2

Glared at for getting grumpy at one of the above 1/100

Underlines my point about Hill's interest in junior betting. Again, not having a go at you, but if you are too busy surely Hills, being the nationwide chain that they are, if they are really interested would have someone help you.

If one guy is doing the juniors which it certainly sounds like then it's a bit harsh criticising. I certainly would like to be responsible for coming up with the odds for junior games.

Without being dismissive you can always use other bookmakers if the service is that bad.

Owen is exceptional at his odds setting (albeit I think the Scottish is tougher for him). Getting access to his odds is the difficulty for many. I need hours to organise my weekly bets. Difficult if no access to a shop till Saturday morning.

I'll try post them on here again weekly then if it helps. Might not be as neat as before as copy and paste doesn't work as well as it used to here.

Al I'll take the 1/3 shot. Hopefully not the 9/2 as I've a busy day tomorrow.

I thought I did quite well with my pricing of Scottish ties. I had Bonnyrigg game closer than betting suggested. East Kilbride ended up massive. I had them odds on.

Can't you get get help at Hills from someone m8 I guess the emails stopped as well because of the same reason. I'm the same as everyone else I can't b ar**d asking the stuff behind the till to show me odds on their screens at the tills and getting in the road of customers putting bets on.I just used used to look at the sheet on the wall or get the odds from your email. You have done a great service for junior football in the past and have probably made Hills a lot of money out of it.It's just a shame someone can't give you a helping hand.Unfortunately for this reason I'm out and back to mcbookie

Yes the 12/1 double available on Bonnyrigg and East Kilbride in the big Scottish was weird yet I was very grateful.

I put the double out on Betfair but it still did not shift the odds.

I can only assume early money talked because I did note on tuesday you had EK as fav.

It's not like McBookie were biggest on the pair and the rest followed like sheep either.

I opened an account to avail myself of best odds at Betstars. Probably get barred immediately as placed a couple of "mug bets" on horses last night from my winnings. Plan was to give them a little back.

However both the beasts won at big prices !!!!!

I have to disagree about Owen being exceptional. In my opinion he's 5 out of 10 no better. If Hill's did singles they'd be losing in the long run.

Ask Paul at McBookie (who accept singles and bet on ALL junior games) if they make a profit with the odds I give them.

I expect your buttering him up as the last thing you'd want is for them to pack it in.

Owen is though far superior to any compilers Ladbrokes or Corals have.

Ha ha

Thanks for your very high opinion Elton. Glad you've got a crystal ball to know that Hills would make a loss.
