endieinreekie Posted October 24, 2016 Author Share Posted October 24, 2016 I've never seen us in a game where we have been so dominant, but fair play to Preston they stuck at it and didn't jack it in until the final few minutes. It could have been so different had they scored their penalty at the start of the second half. Once we opened the scoring they never really looked like getting back into it, but we created and missed a load of chances, which against a better team we would have been punished for. Couple of meaty challenges during the game but nothing too bad, apart from right at the end. Decent set up there, with a nice wee social club in the corner. Spoke to a few Preston fans at the game who were a decent bunch. I was impressed by the rotundness of the Preston keeper, who had a few decent saves, and number 8-they succeeded in making Mark Yardley vaguely athletic!!
