Let's hope the Livi fans don't get on the backs of the players like last week when it's 0-0. They need every bit of encouragement they can get.  This will be a tough gig on Saturday.

Time the fans done there bit and roar'd the team on #COLTS

3-1 Livi

Good result, difference between the sides today, the forwards, apart from that it was a fairly even contest.

First 10 minutes we could've been 3 up but failed to take any chances and after that I felt Alloa edged it.

2nd half we played a lot better, took the game by the scruff of the neck and went for the win, it took a fortuitous 1st goal but after that 2 sublime finishes by Buchanan has sealed the game.

Alloa won most of the 2nd balls but lacked any kind of cutting edge in the final 3rd, was a boost when Hill went off, always pretty solid and the boy who came on was 5 yards behind the line everytime and made it easy for us to play down the channels.

Good 3 points but that's all it is, Alloa will continue to pick up points and won't go away, big game again next week at Brechin who as we seen earlier in the season are a good side.

Hopkin out this week ?

Livi were the better team today and deserved the win, though they did get a break with the deflection for the first goal. We were outplayed from that moment on and never looked like getting back into it.

The Spence offside goal looked a bizarre decision and he really should have done better with his one on one early in the second half. Apart from that though we weren't good enough. I thought the decision to bring on Scullion was a mistake, surely bringing on Holmes and moving Goodwin to centre half would've been better?

Thought we started well and should've been a goal or two up, Mullen had an open goal from Cadden's shot being parried out towards him but somehow managed to put it past the post. After that it got more and more scrappy and we got away with a couple of lax defensive mistakes, Kelly got out quickly to make a block when we passed it back straight to the Alloa player to run in on goal.

2nd half we had more quality up front with Buchanan scoring 2 cracking goals, his 2nd was an absolute peach, Mikey Miller seems to like scoring goals against Alloa too, not quite as good as the last one he scored in our away game against them but equally important. It made up for last week's poor performance and gets us right up for next week's game against Brechin for a top of the table game.

Alloa showed effectively nothing outside of set pieces. Look like a team going backwards already.

Also, George Salmond is a tosser.

Stephen Finnie . Lol  they have the same hair cut
