After a decision being made to replay the game against Neilston all players management and supporters are left gutted after working hard the other Saturday to get a great 3-1 lead and almost seeing it through to the end but for a referee blunder. A referee blunder but no referee report at the meeting just two witnesses who weren't named!!! Why in gods name would there not be a referees report the referee demanded Neilston play the remaining 9 minutes and they refused whilst the Gow players knocked the ball about waiting on the game to be resumed Neilston players and staff even stated to me they knew what they were doing it's an absolute joke and we wont lie down until this matter has been properly investigated.

It must be very frustrating but IMO the only decision was to replay the game, as has been mentioned its the ref who has, totally accidentally, screwed things up. Its harsh I understand but there is no other option, if the boot had been on the other foot I would expect the two camps to change views but how many times have teams scored or lost goals in the closing minutes?

Why should Neilston be punished?

Neilston had the chance to play the 9 minutes and refused in order to get a replay now they will get half the gate money for the replay they have cheated their way into a replay and the know it.

The official ended the game prematurely & you reckon it's Neilston that are somehow to blame

As stated in other thread we cant play the remainin 9 mins cos no one know actual huw long was left.. the ref on his report had a our sub cuming on in the 83rd min when he actual came on in the 55min with neilston also hvin no bookins when the player that " suppose to hv came on " was also booked so hes made a complete arse of it all never even mentioned the incident in match report

fact is that when the ref has stopped games early before then the match has been replayed. Also not sure why you have felt the need to open a new thread about the circumstance's. Also the OP says we won't let this go does that mean he is speaking on behalf of the club?

Wags 9 post 1 on this thread says there was no referee report, but you refer to "the ref on his report" here so what is it to be?

What combine and Wags9 are referring to is that the match incident itself wasn't reported.
