CD 1972
There were 3 options, the other 2 pulled out. Not to de mean this fellas abilities, just stating a fact. I'm sure he'll do ok, he wouldn't have accepted the job unless he felt he could do it justice.

CD 1972
Not sure who was in the frame for it mate. Good luck to Ian coz it's hard work, getting a side together on a Sunday good enough to compete at that level.

Is this the guy that was Manager when Tiber were relegated? A bit of a shock appointment if so, if your only act in amateur football is to relegate the most famous name in the Ayrshire game for the first time in?? However long then it really doesn't make sense

However long then it really doesn't make sense Knockentiber's relegation had been coming for years, they were only in the Premier League that year due to a last minute equaliser in the final game of the season. Fuzzy
To be honest he couldn't buy a job in the juniors failed at Darvel and Girvan where he had a really good squad, only time will tell but my guess is he was the only candidate for the job as his record at amateur and junior is horrendous. CD 1972
As hard as club football is to run the Ayrshire select squad is twice as hard and brings its own set of difficulties, 2 seasons was enough lol.

cannybefukd
I fail to see how that would be "twice as hard as managing a club"??? I appreciate running the Ayrshire select must be a headache at times but come on 5 games a season !!!!! Good luck to the guy though.
