Hell in a Cell, the most dangerous structure in WWE history will once again be the centre of attention for Raw's next PPV, even more so now that there are THREE matches involving the structure. Too many? This will take place on Sunday 30th October 2016.

Every title is on the line in what is sure to be an action packed show. A number of these matches are high profile rematches. The women of WWE will be making history once more as they have managed to secure themselves one of the featured matches to be contested inside Hell in a Cell. Another 'first time ever' scenario.

Our main event is one of the Hell in a Cell matches, a rematch between Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins. Mick & Stephanie have given Seth Rollins yest another chance to try and become the WWE Universal Champion. He isn't impressed at Owens being gifted the title, also the controversial finish to their match at Clash of Champions. Ref bumps, Jericho interfering etc. Chris Jericho also had the chance to be added to this match if he could beat Seth Rollins, unfortunately he could not. Kevin Owens & Chris Jericho tried to make the point to Mick Foley about this structure ending careers and thinking this was unfair as we wants to have a long career and not end up like a "washed up general manager of Raw".

Next up we have two women that are constantly trying to raise the bar even higher. This time, they will go on to make history and be the first female performers to compete inside Hell in a Cell. Sasha Banks and Charlotte have been battling it out for months, the title has changed numerous times and are looking evenly matched. This environment will truly test what these women are made of and they never ever disappoint. Even more impressive is that this match was actually propositioned by Sasha herself to Charlotte, who was very happy to accept the challenge. Mick Foley had no problems giving the go ahead for this match.

One last HIAC warning from Mick Foley:

The third Hell in a Cell match will be another rematch for the WWE United States Championship between Roman Reigns and Rusev. Not a lot can be said about this one anymore. In summary, Rusev felt Roman Reigns had disrespected his wife Lana and now Reigns also has the title that he would like back.

T.J. Perkins will have to defend his WWE Cruiserweight Championship against longtime mentor, now turned foe, Brian Kendrick. Kendrick won the non title match on Raw to earn this shot again, he's doing everything in his power to make a success out of what he believes may be his last run at the top (WWE). Perkins tried to have a sit down and set things straight, talking about old times etc. Which probably doesn't make Brian look all that great as they keep portraying him as someone that was picking up a kid. I am enjoying this rough edge about Brian Kendrick though, he looks defeated and worn out, it's making him that little bit more dangerous. Do not underestimate him, he'll be the champion soon for sure.

Desperate Brian Kendrick:

The New Day have made Anderson & Gallows look absolutely pathetic over the past few months so it's time for some new challengers. These challengers come in the form of an unusual pairing, Cesaro & Sheamus. These two endured a grueling Best of 7 Series which ultimately came to a draw. Mick Foley  decided both men deserved a title shot, so instead of giving each man an individual shot at a title, he decided to put them together to go after The New Day's tag team titles. Will they be able to coexist in time for their big shot?

Charlotte's general lackey Dana Brooke has attacked Bayley so I'd imagine this will become a match. Hopefully on the Kickoff Show!

Karl Anderson & Luke Gallows have desperately needed to get themselves back on track after been made to look foolish in a god awful feud with the champions The New Day. On Raw they decided to ambush Enzo & Cass, who are also another top tag team. This will definitely be taking place on this card and a win for either team would really elevate them back into title contention.

Here is the official theme for Hell in a Cell 2016:

Delighted to see you back in full control again this month, JamieStevenson.

This is probably the daftest PPV. I believe a Hell in a Cell should be used once every two or three years when a feud calls for it and not just be used an arbitrary match type. On top of that, we've seen so many repetitions of these fights over the last four or five weeks it's hard to get excited about.

While I agree with the above on it being a daft PPV, it's still good to see some interesting matches getting put in there. They've tried in recent years to deliver different styles of match in the cell too. So I'm very much looking forward to this, which is actually becoming a bit of a recurring theme for the brand split PPVs, and they're delivering so far.

As great as it is for a women's match to main event a ppv, this feels a bit forced. The match isn't big enough.....unless Charlotte actually gets to moonsault from the cell in a horribly dangerous spot

I actually think it would be one of the les forced ways to do it.  There's been growing favour for women to headline a PPV, and at least if they did it here, they would have the gimmick to make it a little more special.  If they just decided to book a random RAW PPV to have a normal singles match between women go out last, it's going to have even less impact.

To be honest, there's not been a match yet that has been "big" enough to main event.  There probably will be at Wrestlemania, but it'll still be overtaken by the other ones they've made bigger.

Time for them to cut these forced stipulation PPVs like this, TLC and Money in the Bank and only use them when needed.

Hell in a Cell really should only be used when it's a heated, long term feud with no other real option (or as intended punishment, like with Shane McMahon vs Taker). Owens vs Rollins AR least makes sense and his feud with Zayn would have been a top candidate for this type of match to end their feud.

Yup. I think most of us on here have said the same before.

It just shows how shit the 'creative' team in WWE are. They can't write good stories so instead started relying on gimmick matches.

Well I know Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar isn't announced yet. (it is a sure thing though) and the others are all TBD's vs TBD's so no point in making a thread for that. Kind of hoping to get Hell in a Cell out of the way first. Will probably be at least another week before there's enough stuff to put in the thread.

Guess I could just start one for the sake of it and then do a proper post further along.
