Apart from the first five seconds of ''Oh that does sound like them/him/her'' it grates after that.

The Foo fighters were amazing. Their own songs were brilliant but I was especially pleased at them covering Queen/Bowie as I love that song. They also finished with the song that my niece was born to!

They are. Grohl is such an engaging front man, really gets involved with the crowd.


This is it. The songs are largely mediocre, but they play so loudly and he's such an entertaining showman, it's an enjoyable set every time. Even the bright orange weirdo drummer doesn't take himself too seriously.

The best bit was playing Ted Nugent in the introductions.

Foo Fighters seem to have discovered the perfect balance of the lo-fi punk of their roots, and the stadium rock bands that they obviously love.

Clearly Dave's (and Taylor's) engaging personality helps too...
