RiG
https://www.thesun.ie/uncategorized/380078/bluebell-uniteds-dean-ebbe-seals-surprise-move-from-amateur-football-to-scottish-premiership-side-inverness-caledonian-thistle/?CMP=spklr-_-default-_-TWITTER-_-IrishSunSport-_-20170103-_-764984956 Nothing about the length of deal or any fee. With four strikers on the books surely one of them will need to make way? Seems to be a bit of a gamble this one but I'd love to be proved wrong. Highland Capital
Bluebell United? And formerly of Athlone?! My my my! Who are we going to sign a player from next? Strathspey Thistle?

Cerberus
Fair play, it could work out. Spoiler It probably won't though.
Nightmare
It looks like a shoddy (and random) signing on paper, but Kris Doolan and Chris Erskine came from the Juniors and are a success at what is essentially five tiers higher, so you never know. ICTChris
I don't think there's an issue with signing players from lower leagues - I was being a bit facetious above. We signed Richie Hart from the Highland League when we were in the First Division and he was a great player for us at that level and in the early years of the SPL. This guy is young so maybe he was a late developer and has taken time to learn. We've also had him on trial so have had a look at the guy. Some of our core players in recent years had played most of their careers up to then in the fifth or sixth tier of English football. The issue with it is that we are bottom of the table, we are on the worst run we've been on since joining the Scottish leagues. We need to improve now and if this is the only signing we make during the window then it doesn't exactly fill us with confidence.

WathRcfc1929
Apparently Dean Ebbe has scored 7 goals for bluebell (an amateur team in the third team of Ireland (just to remind you)) pretty good record. Perfect player to take you out of the relegation battle in a professional top tier league!! Hahaha
ICTChris
Press and Journal reporting that we want to bring Miles Storey back from Aberdeen. Would be a good signing.
Super Caley Man
Miles Storey could be coming back to Inverness from Aberdeen in a loan deal or an exchange deal swapping ether Greg Tansey Liam Polworth or Ross Draper Dean Ebbe looks no bad I know coming from amateur league football in fucking IRELAND don't make it the most exciting deal ever to happen for ICT! but he seems promising scored 4 goals in one game! So he knows how to find the back of the net he has pace & is pretty fast which is what we need cause our 3 strikers are really slow. He should improve with the better football & training facilities that we can offer him. If we can develop him right he could be a fine player & it would not be the first time we have turned a non-league player into a first team player in the top flight. Hopefully we will sign 2 or 3 more players during the winter break maybe a midfielder like Andrew Shinnie or Ryan Christie someone who can get behind the defence & cause them hassle instead of trying to pass the ball by them or lobbing into the box also have better killer through passing with better timing! That way Ross Draper can sit a bit deeper most of time & start doing what he does best winning the ball & holding it instead of losing the ball with rushed passing all the time . Get another quick striker one we know we can throw straight into the relegation battles we are going to face. Miles Storey would be a good choice cause he already knows Inverness & the players we still have from last season. He can fit right in & start helping out straight away But more importantly we need another defender we are conceding too many poor goals & can't rely on the backline we have right now we have scored more goals then any other team in the bottom 6 but the goals we have let in are holding us down like an anchor! Foran needs to get it sorted & that should be his No#1 priority

foransbeard
I hope we come back from this break recharged and hungry to move away from the bottom of the league. Vigurs needs dropped and we need to try 4 4 2. Any word on Tansey moving on or is he likely to just coast his way through rest of of season not giving a fuk
