Double Jack D
Federalism is the reddest of all red herrings for the Scottish electorate. Like EU membership, England doesn't want federalism so it matters not a f**k whether Scots want it or not!

She's offering vague promises of begging for some kind of discussion at which watered-down federalism might come up.
jmothecat
Who is she trying to please? This won't be good enough for nationalists and will polarise no voters. I'm really struggling to understand who Labour are trying to target.

Fide
Has anyone else noticed Kezia's overuse of the phrase "I've been very clear about this"? Which is ironic when you consider she, y'know, fucking hasn't.

Colkitto
The Andrew Neil interview was the perfect example. He directly quoted Sadiq Khan and she said "No, he didn't say that Andrew"

Colkitto
Surely Labour should have asked for these assurances from the PM BEFORE voting through Brexit in the Commons? http://www.scottishlabour.org.uk/blog/entry/kezia-dugdale-outlines-best-brexit-deal-for-scotland

SLAB appear to be behind the curve on almost everything, deserved shoeing heading their way in a few weeks. It's quite bizarre just behind the curve they are on a regular basis.

dirty dingus
Ah quite like her for her fortitude or is it stupidity? She's continually waffling shite that no one believes except maybe herself Sarwar and Mcternan. Also it's quite funny when she gets telt on twitter for every post she sticks up. Double Jack D
The fact that the letter comes from the leader of the Scottish Labour Party is absolutely astounding. The "demands" I suppose are fair enough, but the way they are articulated is amateurish at best. I mean, does she honestly believe that Theresa May will read that and shift even the width of a bawhair towards federalism for the UK. It's lala land stuff. Scottish Labour have become an embarrassing irrelevance and it's purely down to their hatred of the SNP. Maybe one day they'll get it but, from the look of that letter, today certainly isn't gonna be the day. If she is serious about these needs for Scotland then she should get on the indy bus and pronto. Her and Labour's future in Scottish politics depend on it.

That's exactly what I thought. She has no hand to play because she and her party will never support Scottish Independence. So she'll meekly walk away and side with the Tories anyway.
Crossbill
She'll be gone after May. It's going to be interesting to see if the next leader can swallow their pride and admit they have made a huge mistake, or keep pursuing the same old SNPbad / federalism shite.
Mark Connolly
I received my polling card for the council elections the other day. I genuinely can't be bothered with yet another vote, but I'll happily turn up to try to ensure Labour are punted out of Glasgow City Council.
