Underpants Gnome
The squad at the moment is currently dominated by players playing down south, but most of these players started off at clubs up here before getting their big move. What 5 players at this moment in time do you have big hopes for or see being big talents and perhaps being regulars in the Scotland squad in the near future (if they aren't already)

Underpants Gnome
See Souttar's mentioned quite a bit. He good enough to be in the squad now? Don't watch Hearts much so can't judge.
RandomGuy.
Souttars awful. Regularly ships goals against us though which might influence my thinking
Gordopolis
Why are we getting a big media push behind Souttar when everyone on places like PnB say he's gash?
woof! I don't see anyone saying he should be in now though, more that he has the potential to step up.

Blootoon87
I think Souttar looks decent enough. He's still young and has a lot to learn but I can see him being called into the squad before long.
NorthernJambo
Souttar has been pretty decent so far this season, as proven with Ozturk not being able to get back in the side. He's still only 19 so time on his side, nearly 100 top flight games under his belt and our country is crying out for promising centre halves. ilostmyself
Souttar can't be a million miles away from a call up purely by process of elimination. It'll be Martin, Berra and Hanley guaranteed a call up plus someone else. Greer can't last forever and there's not much else out there.
haggisbeastie
Why are we getting a big media push behind Souttar when everyone on places like PnB say he's gash? He has something we have not had for a while. A central defender who can handle ball under pressure, without panicking and booting into row Z.It's valuable in International Football, although he does have some more defending experience to be ready for full caps..Jordon McGhee & Harry Souttar are others with similar potential...its looking better from a central defence point of view, I think.... Peppino Impastato
Said on here the two shutters will be Scotland regulars, was mocked by morons with no clue. They will be, along with mcghee far and away the best we have coming through, John has come on leaps and bounds since going to hearts. Harry signing for Stoke in Jan. RandomGuy.
Why are we getting a big media push behind Souttar when everyone on places like PnB say he's gash? Because he made his debut so young. Folk in this country seem to assume that means you've more potential than someone who debuts at 20.
NorthernJambo
Souttar got injured today and I blame this thread.
