The BBC

The UK Government launched its new BBC Charter Review insisting the corporation must look to “contribute to the social cohesion and well being of the United Kingdom”.

Sparks were flying after sources close to the review process were reported as saying that the Scottish bulletin was dead in the water because the draft Royal Charter, and the accompanying framework agreement, published yesterday, “required the BBC to have a UK-wide approach and to support and promote the United Kingdom”.

Anyone who says the bbc is not ideologically opposed to Scottish independence is a liar.   It's in their fucking charter.

Thats fucking insane, The Guy was a producer of BBC Sri Lanka, so he got fired for focusing on Sri Lankan politics instead of some British royals fucking arsehole baby. (To be fair, hes not a arsehole yet, but hes a royal, its a sure thing) I mean how dare he give news relevant to his demographic.

You would have a point if it was the BBC that drafted their charter. They didn't which undermines your argument, anything in the charter cannot be attributed to the BBC ideology.

Of course nobody could deny that the BBC is a state instrument.

They still produce loads of top class programs.  Just need to steer well clear of anything related to news or current affairs, and especially anything to do with Scotland.  The fact that they have gone full on tory will have helped open a lot of folks eyes to their disembling, even in England.

Even their "top class programs" have subliminal's. Anybody looking for them will spot them. Most people won't however, because they won't even consider them while they're watching their favourite TV shows. It's most effective when you don't even know they are there.

I'm pro independence & hope for a Scottish broadcast service so let's not act surprised when the british broadcasting company are pro britain.

Yes it's nasty pro union & royalist propaganda but I like homes under the hammer, although I'm contemplating cancelling my TV licence DD since they've brought Dion Dublin in as a 3rd presenter, 2 was excessive ffs but 3, pure waste of my fee.

Subtle indirect, maybe a few years ago, now it is downright lying and misdirection

You are of course correct. During and since indyref1 it's become more blatant and they don't seem answerable to anyone.

Oh dear.

Erm if you're attempting to pull him up for his spelling you might want to take another look at your dictionary, as in this context 'licence' is the correct spelling.  Seeing as we're not in America licence is the noun and license is the verb.

If you don't believe me ask the TV Licensing Authority:

http://www.tvlicensing.co.uk/

Pay for your TV Licence in a way that suits you. Yearly, quarterly, monthly, weekly

A standard colour TV Licence costs £145.50. Find out about ways you can pay
