Falkirk (wheel and horses) v Ayr (Burns and horse racing)

Recommended Posts

Ayr did play well and were unfortunate, few wee breaks and they could have left with the 3 points no doubt. However seen us loads of times over the years especially in the top league out playing bigger teams only for them to score late on and we leave with plaudits not points. It happens.

Has Harkins made much of a difference since coming in ?

Maybe you billy-big-baws teams that get to the Scottish Cup final every quarter-century are used to it, but for teams that literally put the "seaside" in "seaside league" to have a player as comfortable on the ball as Harkins is a revelation.

The alternative is to have a player who is off-pace and unable to dictate play for the vast majority of teams regularly competing below this level.
