This constant referencing of "senior clubs" and "senior leagues" when what is actually meant is SPFL clubs is just ignorance. Mind you, if commentators and journalists can't get it right, there's small chance of mere football fans getting it right. Having said that, I've known the difference between national, senior and junior since from nearly when I started taking an interest in football, and that's 50+ years ago.
