spidersfan
Been watching Kelty Hearts great start to the season, winning 7 out of 7 games. Was just wondering if this is a record for a start of a season in the East league or any other junior league? If not, does anyone know the longest run of winning games from the start of a season? Specky
Linlithgow went the 2012/13 season unbeaten, stringing together a 50+ match run including a full calendar year. Does that help ?

Don't have the year to hand on my phone but within the last 10 years or so, I have a recollection that Whitburn won 10 on the spin at the start of the season. Nugent4nil
Arthurlie won 13 in a row in season 44/45..... Im sure Fauldhouse United were unbeaten in 45 when they beat Arthurlie in the Scottish final in 46 but I dont know the win-draw ratio or what their next results were or cup-league etc........... im away for a lay down. ex-german exile
In 2014-15 Irvine Meadow won their first 10 fixtures before a 2-2 draw with Glenafton brought the streak to an end. I thought they won their first 11 and then only took single figure points from their last 11 to finish third. Might be my selective memory though.Regardless it was the start of their decline that saw them relegated last season

.Stuart.
We finished 3rd that season but I said it then that if we carry on this form we're going down next season. We only won 2 league games in the whole of 2015

Pundeavon
I am pretty sure Kilbirnie won their first 16 games in 1976-77 before losing 1-0 to Cumnock in the final of the Jackie Scarlett Cup at Dam Park. Can any other Ladeside fans confirm this? Our longest unbeaten run in my time as a supporter was in 1967-68, when we went 24 games unbeaten after losing our opening match of the season at Beith - ended with a 2-1 defeat at Troon.
