Thathanka Iyothake
Hot news from Fife Hill of Beath v Kelty game stopped by referee in 80min .The ref asked the Haws committee to send for police .There was least 30 Kelty fans continuously verbally abusing the Haws manager and worse racially abusing a Haws coach. The game was held up for 8mins during which time The Haws chairman and general manager had entered the area occupied by Kelty fans to retrieve a match ball apparently hidden up a fans jersey These 2 guys also suffered a torrent of abuse. Sad too see two stalwarts of junior football treated this way by a bunch of nutters. After game had restarted 2 young constables arrived but did nothing to help the situation .Don't know what the refs report will contain, no idea if the Haws will be writing to the SJFA East Region. Sad Day For Fife Juniors !!

hearthammer
If the issue is connected with facilities being provided or offered to visiting supporters - then yes. When the problem includes potential law breaking through racial and/or other types of abuse, then the answer is a resounding "no". As you are the font (burst fountain mostly) of all things pro-Kelty, then it is right that an opinion on the matter should be sourced from the temple of knowledge. Fife Journeyman
The guys that were behind the Haws dugout probably only attend the bigger matches and every chance had been on the bevy early doors due to the Old Firm game. I thought for a whilst they brought a wee bit atmosphere to a Haws Kelty game that has been missing for a few years but as the match went on i think they went a litte OTT. Haws manager took a barrage of abuse but didnt retaliate as far as i could see which is commendable. Things started to get a little out of hand with banging in the dug out roof and one fan was on the park obviously heavily intoxicated. Didnt see the incident at the end as left with 5 to go but theres a very fine line between banter and goin over the top . I think maybe half a dozen Kelty fans at most crossed this line which was a wee bit disapointing In regards to the game Haws battled away for an hour but Keltys strength in depth showed last
Deanburn Dave
Hopefully HoB manager Bobby "Rottweiler" Wilson was acting as peacemaker and everybody was best buddies after the match.
kevinmfc
As a hoose fan a tough day for all junior true supporters with it being a old firm game all pissed young lads that don't go every week. Have to say our commitee dealt with it with the help of a few old heads.
pipedreamer
Some facts, and this is from someone who was at the game today. The fans behind the dugout had been banging on the dugout roof for the best part of 30 minutes before the 'incident' with no altercations or problems. The fans behind the dugout were shouting 'bobby bobby what the score, bobby whats the score' which can be heard on the live feed on youtube. Let's be honest, BW has been giving it out for the best part of how many years? He's a big boy and can expect it in a hot tempered game. The incident happened after Haws had scored to make it 5-2 when the coaching staff then decided to engage with the fans behind the dugout. I think today was more a 'perfect storm' of Celtic v Rangers at lunchtime with many fans being in the pub watching the game from early doors, then travelling along already intoxicated. Add to that a pretty fiery game between the two sides and the proximity of the park to the fans at Keirs Park. A minority spoiled it today as the atmosphere was fantastic for a junior game. Oh and FYI the game was stopped for 3 (THREE) minutes, two of which were while treatment was taking place on a Haws player on the park before the referee came over to see what was going on.. Thathanka Iyothake
A see those of a Kelty bias have missed the main points foul and abusive language which went on for 20mins at rear of Haws dugout until the REF stopped the game and the RACIAL bile that the Haws coach was subjected too. pity the video person didn't pick that up mind you only highlights of the game. Good chance that the term Throw RACISM Out ,not reached Kelty yet , or it would not surprise anyone they don't know what RACISM means . Lets hope for the sake of football the Referee submits a full and accurate report.
Thathanka Iyothake
Better read the opening post again it said NO IDEA if HOB would contact ERJFA Look at the live stream when the game is stopped see the Ref speaking to Kelty coaches in dug out area then see some of the coaches and Shaun Greig speaking to the nutters. Was there a case they were concerned the ref was going to abandon the game. Forget about the actual game, my previous post was mainly on the torrent of abuse and racist bile directed towards the Haws coaching staff. A think THE MASSES would like to see your opinion on that important issue
