Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

Dont they employ loads in Wales ???

Think its 15,000 people directly and then several suppliers/ancillary companies which provide outsourcing etc. It would absolutely devastate the community there, despite this there was a 10,000 majority in favour of Brexit in this area. Essentially people here voted themselves out of a job. Its not as if people are queuing up to invest in Wales as well.

Quite incredible juxtaposition there.

In other news, the EU have allegedly mentioned that people visiting Europe from the UK will need to pay £X in the future for a Visa. Hardly surprising, we're out of the EU and therefore can't take advantage of free movement. Of course this this has been totally lost on Daily Mail readers as the comments section on the article shows.

Some of the comments on that are quite unbelievable -

"Just a way for the EU to still try and take our money"

What a moron.

One thing that's mentioned in that article (and it hadn't occurred to me before) is the fact that Airbus have been stockpiling parts in anticipation of supply problems when we leave. Increasing inventory is a perfectly sensible course of action to take, but this must be going on right across the U.K. and will giving the economy as a whole a temporary boost. These stocks will need to be used or run down at some point in the not too distant.

Aerospace and it's supply chain is an area where the UK is a true world leader, unbelievable that they can sit by and watch that happen.

Worth it for blue passports with a picture of Elizabeth on the front of them. GSTQ.

It’s hard to disagree with your response.

If this goes ahead, particularly with some variety of the hard Brexit option which is looking more likely, I can predict people despairing for years to come at their self inflicted stupidity.

The EU has been working on an Esta style visa for couple of years now, if UK ain't in EU citizens will have to apply, it makes sense. It's hardly a plot as the daily mail puts it.

Can we have the word SLOWLY removed from the title of this.

BREXIT is now thundering down the the exit pass of the European mountain like an avalanche gaining speed as it prepares to engulf and kill us all.

Could quite easily remove EVERY word in the title other than the first and last TBH.

I'm beginning to think that it might be a good idea to start stocking up on tinned food. A few inches of snow renders the nation bread and milkless. Imagine what it is going to be like when we close the borders start having to process every last thing coming into the country. Unbelievably (at this rate, anyhoo) that's going to happen. 2 years since the vote and the fuckers in charge still haven't taken a single step forward to get this sorted out.

I assume they still think that the EU is going to bend over and take the UK length eventually, so why bother preparing for anything? Utter, utter, c***s.
