Some people think that if you allow this happen on one street then before you know it - it will be everywhere. A ridiculous attitude to take but some people have such a narrow definition of identity that they want everyone around them to look, talk and behave exactly the same as they do - or their sense of identity will be lost for good. We were never going to get as good a deal as we have now - in which case the EU will still benefit and not us. We're headlong into a pointless world of inflation, zero investment, outward flow of high paying jobs and capital, importing workers from outside the EU to keep Tim Wetherspoon ticking over, doubling bureaucracy and red tape.
