Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

It was stated by May in her statement to the Commons today, that this was one of the options being looked at.
Really. Oh ffs, completely unacceptable. Will set the peace process back decades. If this is pushed through then the main parties on the island of Ireland need to push for a border poll. The economic and political catastrophe this will produce may persuade soft no's in both the Republic and the north.

Hard to over state the significance of the Irish border issue. There are obvious ramifications for imposing a border. If no border, someone needs to produce an economic impact assessment on rUK to understand how much business will shift from there and what that will cost in terms of jobs.

A us/canada style border is being planned for ireland, just call it a hard border then

Aye, and Varadkar rejected that six months ago after he visited Canada and inspected the border in August. Apparently no one fed this information to the Maybot, as she still claimed this was a great potential solution.

Airbus amongst the most recent companies considering their position and in urgent need of ‘clarity over post brexit customs arrangements’ whilst considering their future. Im sure the Blue passports are worth the 100,000 job losses should they pull out (based on direct employees and supply chain jobs reliant on the company).

Can see people of colour being shot on the basis of illegally entering the US when they just wanted their basketball back.

Shocking wording in your post

'People of colour' is an a bit of an Americanism, but there's nothing wrong with it as a term for non-white people.

I think beermonkey was complaining about strichener being PC instead of using the N word.
