Brexit slowly becoming a Farce.

We were talking specifically about banking jobs we were not talking about 'jobs' in general and a handful of  those jobs are moving not being lost.  Banking jobs tend to be well paid and the people doing these jobs will be very capable of moving with them. Companies have been moving jobs to Europe for decades, especially factory production jobs ,.......where the f**k were you then when factory production workers were losing their jobs you arse?

This is not the end of civilisation as we know it so stop acting like a precious c*nt

Tax? Multiplier effects? Do these things not matter?

Will Brexit move the production jobs back? Or will they continue to be fulfilled at the place where the producers make the most money? The exchange rate has already fucked the investment appraisal NPV calculation on that one.

If Labour had included an anti Brexit, at least an anti leaving the single market stance, Corbyn might be PM. I know people think that Corbyn picked up UKIP votes because of his anti EU credentials, but I doubt it was significant.

I'd prefer a commitment to the single market definitely and it's depressing that the choice is between a well thought out social democratic manifesto and a commitment to hold another referendum. The masses of people that did vote for change aren't going to willingly come back to the same shite that's got us into this situation.

I was in a factory watching production move to China and Mexico.
Will brexit bring those jobs back?

No answers as usual.
Its amazing how many arguments you 'best' that way.

Just amazed that you squeezed all the issues surrounding globalisation and  some of  the negative effects on those in society less equipped to deal with them into your narrow, personal experience and think that gives you the right to dismiss every other experience as irrelevant.

Whose 'narrow personal experience' should I give?
Someone else's?

Good point. The jobs haven't been lost after all. Just moved.

Anyhoo, how will Brexit bring these jobs back? Or the ones that have been moved to Europe? That's what this thread is about after all. Brexit.

Be specific. Be very specific.

Your personal experience of jobs moving to Mexico and China did not address the issue of factory production jobs having  moved to Eastern and Southern Europe over the past 20 years.

I've not claimed that Brexit will bring those jobs back......although you never know!

But I have stated something that has happened to thousands of production jobs because the EU made it too easy for companies to do this..

I'm just trying to indicate to you that the antipathy towards the EU is far more deep rooted and problematic than you appreciate.

Btw, your Be specific, be very specific statement is patronising. I hope you don't actually speak like that to people.

The reason I'm patronising is that you are a fucking clown. Check the name of the thread. You are claiming that Brexit is a good thing and your reasoning is that UK jobs have moved to other parts of Europe. Yet apparently these jobs won't be reinstated. So what's the fucking point then? If the EU took 'control' away then surely Brexit means we can take it back, no? Apparently not. And that's according to you.

Also I may point out there was another couple of simple questions that you have completely avoided in the last page or two. That'll be your version of 'owning' the rest of us. You must write for the Daily Express. Your English and comprehension is a bit too good for that, I suppose.

It's a big fucking worry. As nice as the Daily Mail's sidebar of shame is, I'm not convinced I'll be too delighted knocking one out to it on a daily basis.

ETA: Maybe Brexit might create a rejuvenation of the UK scud book industry. Even Boris Johnson Michael Gove McSpreader hasn't come out with that outlandish pish. I'd give it 5 minutes...

I would be more comfortable with this whole Brexit and Leave thing if I heard a politician who really had a clear vision of what it would mean and could say so in a really convincing manner.

So far - nobody.
All airy fairy - "trust me - we are better out."

All this thing about not showing our cards.  Reminds me of that famous speech by John F Kennedy.
"Before the end of this decade - we will send a man somewhere (don't ask me to say where) and bring him back safely"
Truly memorable!

I'd advise Div to moderate a regular moist nazis of the week thread, and porn hub to do a hard core white boys being fistfucked by black men. And maybe a weekly video of McSpreader tracking down his girlfriend who left him for a Pole and crying about unfair it all is, so hard that his girlfriend comes back to him.
