That's a matter for negotiation. Britain has been a been a huge net contributor to the EU's budget, more than enough to pay for those liabilities. With our rebate we've paid less than any other member per capita, on par with Norway who haven't even a seat at the table. America would be a bit annoyed by us getting compensated for the Marshall Plan, given that we didn't pay a penny, but benefited from it. What a bitter and twisted mind you must have! You must be talking from personal experience. DAB fans must be tighter than I thought. Do you continue to pay subscriptions to organisations after you have resigned or left them? I don't but you must think that's mean. The fact is that there is nothing in the consolidated Treaties that provides for country to make payments after it has left the EU.
