Some rumours circulating about Tansey to Aberdeen and also Meekings to Rangers. Foran had said at the weekend we were looking at getting two players in so I would guess someone else still has to arrive unless he is counting the return of Cammy McKay from his loan at Elgin (Esson has an elbow injury and is out for six weeks). We understand the player and the club have failed to agree personal terms. Hearts were willing to let the Ghanaian international, who has two years left on his contract, move to the Highlands for free. It's our understanding that Hibernian and Aberdeen are now showing an interest in Buaben, however, as both clubs are considered direct rivals to Hearts, they may be find it trickier to strike a deal to sign the midfielder. Both midfielders so hopefully more defensive ones as we lack strength there. Also would let us put Shinnie back to defence where he's best. If they're the right players it'll make a massive difference to our entire season. Putting 2+2 together for 5 here I think, since the only reasoning behind it is our need for a CM and the fact he's been at the club prior to his Hearts move, but is the Buaben to County deal off because we're sniffing about?
