CC1987
Given that the semi finals are:- Talbot v Beith Kilbirnie v Cumnock There is a high possibility that two local rivals may be playing each other in the final. My question is regardless of whether its a Beith & Kilbirnie or Cumnock & Talbot final, there is the potential for a big crowd and also the potential for a few of the village idiots to raise their heads therefore is Troon be the best venue to host a final like this? fan of the juniors
Wouldn't say Troon . Would say a park with 2 seperate entrances so if it's Us v Beith maybe Abbey Park & if it's Nock v Talbot I'd say Lugar but they would say it wouldn't be big enough for their hordes

Probably a better idea & it's something that we would probably look at as well to save both clubs heading elsewhere

So maybe you & Novk will come up to us if it's you [emoji23][emoji23]

Hertha/BJFC1938
I think Troon is the perfect venue regardless of who's in it , do remember our cup final against Cumnock being delayed right enough due to congestion at the turnstiles but it's a great venue for a final, good transport links, great surface , good cover , good hospitality and a good tight venue in terms of being on top of the action. As said by FOTJ though it only has one entrance so if beith v kilbirnie then abbey park would be a good alternative .
Bul2
How is Troon good for transport links. Maybe for people travelling from Beith possibly on train between both However for Auchinleck and Cumnock, it's not on a train or a bus due to amount of changesIt's supporters bus, car or add probably about 2 to 3 hours onto your dayCan't fault the folk at Troon, lovely folk , but, the turnstile delays at the Beith / Cumnock game were really bad

Especially as the final is usually a Sunday. Public transport from Auchinleck/Cumnock to Troon on a Sunday is a no-no
Napoleon
Troon now has 3 main turnstiles and we have now created a new separate entrance this close season which is accessed from the beach side so no issues if held at Troon regarding access. Aw well that makes all the difference lol. Poor location if it's an East Ayrshire final imo. Better to play it at Hurlford or Lugar
Wild Winton Rover
Winton Park is in great shape at the moment and has the facilities to match anyone in the area if its a north/north final or north/south final. Plus we had a new state of the toilet block delivered this morning!

Hertha/BJFC1938
How hard can it be if you're from auchinleck or Cumnock to board a bus to ayr and then a 10 minute train to Troon? Its hardly the end of the world just like a person from beith can easily get a bus to glengarnock follows by a train to Troon . Beith to Troon through a bus and then train is probably about the same time wise as auchinleck / Cumnock to Troon via bus then train .
Wild Winton Rover
Ardrossan has 3 train stations and 3 gates. Am I convincing you yet. A supporters club, 2 hospitality rooms and 2 canteens serving the Kandy Bar the best pies in football as voted by Scottish Bakers society.
the rambler
Meadow Park would be a good choice. Pitch is in great condition, good transport links, central for all 4 teams, big Stand, ticks all the boxes.
