Burnie_man
Isn't it a case of Wilsons XI = Bridge of Don Thistle = Newburgh Thistle? I might have missed another name along the way.
ham1sh68
Bridge of Don Thistle used to be Hillhead...who originally joined the Juniors as Wilsons XI! Not so much "a man of many clubs " as a "club of many names"...in a relatively short space of time.

Doesn't seem that long ago we played Wilsons XI in the Junior Cup, 2004-05, they've changed their name three times since then!
Deanburn Dave
Lochee v Hurlford the tie of the round in my opinion...........any other ties that you think beat it ?
kilsyth ranger
Wishaw v Cumnock will have a bit of spice, as the manager left Wishaw for Cumnock, John mckeowen? feel free to correct me anyone?
ham1sh68
Wilsons XI played at Hillhead which belongs to Aberdeen University so that was a logical change. Not sure of the reason behind the change to Bridge of Don Thistle but they lost access to Hillhead when Aberdeen University joined the Junior ranks and they moved out to the small village of Newburgh north of Aberdeen where they groundshare with the local Amateur side...hence the change of name. Whatever they are called I think they will do well to take Sauchie to a replay. .
Talbot Bing
Wishaw v Cumnock will have a bit of spice, as the manager left Wishaw for Cumnock, John mckeowen? feel free to correct me anyone? Lochee v Hurlford the tie of the round in my opinion...........any other ties that you think beat it ? Definitely agree with both comments. Hurlford will be luckily of they get past the 1st round now. Think McKeowen left on good terms though bit still tasty to go back to your old club. Predict an upset with a Wishaw won. Hard place to beat them at home with prior experience.
