Bathgate 1 St Andrews 2.

A really entertaining game in which both sides got the ball down and tried to play. Saints took the lead when the keeper failed to handle a 35 yard Sibanda free kick and Buchan bundled it home at the second attempt. Sibanda scored early in the second half after Bathgate gave the ball away deep in their own half and it looked like a comfortable win. However Bathgate soon pulled one back and it became more of a to and fro game with both sides creating chances.

Four wins on the trot for Saints so happy days.

Ft Craigmark 1-5 Girvan

wasn't one for the purists in the putting rain but credit to Leonard's team they were very solid and could've had a few more. craigmark should do alright this season too. Missing lot of players today and individual errors cost them. thought the ref was good as well , young guy but spoke to players and got majority of stuff right.

Thorniewood 0   Shettleston 1

Four wins from four in the diddy cup, Weatherson with the winner, calmly slotting home an early second half penalty...

Am I right in thinking that this is the first time that Shettleston have won the group since the sections were revamped?

YOKER ATH 1-0 MARYHILL

Clydebank edge the section on goal difference after we passed up several great chances today, our only goal coming from a penalty. 10 points from 12, undefeated and still disappointed tonight. Guess not having a trip to Cumbernauld on Wednesday before our 1st league game could prove a blessing in disguise.
