It's still absolutely tragic you're on here posting "Yass" when they score, you decrepit f**k.

This is true.  Imagine posting that when the team you want to win scores.  And on a football forum of all places!

Think they are but they did change their name back to the Catalan spelling Espanyol after being forced to use the Castilian Español during the Franco era IIRC.

Aye, I think so. They are another "R.C.D." club I think - "Real Club Deportivo" - so I think they are basically the Royal Spanish Sporting Club. My knowledge of la Liga and of the Spanish and Catalan languages are severely limited though so don't take my word for it. [emoji14]

Aye, it was some cross tbf. They look a shadow of the team they should be, not sure their new system is working yet.

Disappointed Atletico sat off them aswell, had them on the ropes, Greizmann on fire and Saul causing havoc, and then they completely sit in and let Barca get into rhythm. Shame.

Good win for Real who appear to be making an effort to bring through youngsters this year. Very good finish from Ronaldo which will be largely ignored because people want to like Messi and dislike Ronaldo. Some may prefer to watch Messi understandably but Ronaldo is the one that turns it on when it matters.

Yep, you’d never see Messi take the game by the scruff of the next and score a hat-trick to take his country to the World Cup. Or single-handedly take his country to a World Cup final.

Anyone who White knights either Messi or Ronaldo, and is over the age of 12, needs kicked in the pie.

Anyone over the age of 12 who doesn't appreciate the genius of Messi shouldn't comment on football.
