Like him or loathe him, a fully fit Scott Brown played great for Scotland forget the last 2/3 years of injuries and playing clearly not fit. He reached 50 caps and gave his all for his country, if his body needs looking after he will know hence retiring.

Rather than slating a player who got 50 caps and let's be honest gave his all in every match for his country sometimes to I'll effect, but he was scottish through and through any player who has the privilege to play for scotland and we can see gives there all gets my thumbs up.

Over the last decade we have seen some right dross in the team Scott Brown was not 1 of them he will be missed in the team.

Hard to think why a 32 year old veteran player would not fancy crossing an ocean to play meaningless matches against Peru and Mexico, which prepare us for precisely nothing, losing more than a quarter of the time before his next match, which is a qualifier for a tournament that leads to games against the best clubs in Europe.

Yeah, it's a puzzler.

He might even be giving up four games against Israel and Albania too.

This is by far the worst Scotland squad ever. We have two decent left backs, a few adequate midfielders and two goalies, no competent centre halves and no goalscorers. Hardly an appealing prospect for a player with a rapidly diminishing number of matches left in his legs.

No voter found /\

Griffiths has 250 career goals and brown can be excused from those friendlies without retiring.  And this is the best squad we've had for 10 years.  You're an idiot.
