CM.
Blackburn Rovers' (my English team) last 3 conceded goals have all been own goals by Shane Duffy. Currently 2-0 down to Cardiff with him putting through his own net twice and in the last match he put through his own net to clinch a 3-0 win for Wigan. So in short the same player has scored 3 consecutive own goals. Just wondering if anyone knows the Scottish record for consecutive own goals and whether or not it surpasses Shane Duffys infamous achievement? PS he wants to leave Blackburn so predictably all the match fixing conspiracy theories have started
Duffy_
I've got money on Cardiff tonight and we share a surname. I fully expect to be investigated for match fixing.
Thistle_do_nicely
Names springing to mind immediately are Stephen Craigen and Darren Dods, no idea where to look at how many consecutive OG's they had. Craigen in particular was, I'm sure, into double figures for O.G's if that helps...
Duffy_
2 own goals and a red card. What a night.

Craigan had a few OGs (another player that springs to mind is John Philliben) but I don't think any of them were consecutive. We did once have an Icelandic player called Jonsson. Made his debut up at McDiarmid Park and scored an OG, gave away a penalty (which was scored), then had a slack pass back that went straight to the opposition striker to score and capped it off by being sent off. His career total appearances for Motherwell was 1.

Ranaldo Bairn
Roddy Manley got two in a six nil pumping by Dundee.I think he also hit the bar, narrowly failing to notch a hat trick of own goals.
GordieBoy80
I think Alex Keddie scored an own goal in two consecutive games back in 2011/12 but he limited himself to one og a game

The Nightfly
I reckon chris nichol of Southampton scored all 4 in a 2-2 draw back in early eighties This feat was achieved in 1976 when Nicholl was playing for Aston Villa. He joined Southampton the following year. :-)

My abiding memory of Steve Nicol was him pulling out of Scotland squads before making a Lazarus-like recovery to turn out for Liverpool a few days later. I'm amazed he ever featured in consecutive internationals. Edit: Checked. You are correct. Away to Yugoslavia and France, World Cup qualifiers in 1989... Richey Edwards
I think Dean Keenan scored an OG in two or three consecutive games in 2007. I could be wrong though.

Shandon Par
Hot on the heels of our first team having missed the last six penalties, our u20s missed two in a row.... then David Hopkirk scored lucky number 9. Alex Keddie was our OG king.
