The_Judge
Congratulations to club Captain, Barry Russell, who made his 100th appearance for East Kilbride yesterday in a 4-1 win over Whitehill Welfare.
Kilbyfan
Another great win on the back of last weeks result in Edinburgh...Spartans will no doubt drop points so just need to keep winning :-)

Fremlin
Was starting to think the snow gods didn't want this game to happen.

Craigyboy
One of the coldest nights at the football I've had in years....happy to get the win and move onto the semi final in two weeks time..
The_Judge
Huge game in the League today, when Vale of Leithen visit K-Park. Kick-off 3pm, admission is £6 adult and £3 concessions. jinky
Never easy against CCs but their form has dipped since beating and drawing against BSC in back to back league games...
The_Judge
Lowland League result - 24/2/18 Cumbernauld Colts - 0 East Kilbride FC - 4 Goal scorers for Kilby were Kieran Gibbons, Ross McNeil, Bryan Prunty & Declan Hughes.
airdrieman
Glad to see Prunty in amongst the goals for EK. Good player and even better guy to have around the club. I'm sure he'll be a big help in your promotion push.
jinky
Shame the game was spoiled as a contest when referee sent off CCs player just after half-time...straight red card for two players colliding in an attempt to get the ball...ludicrous decision! First half was very even and the sending off was a complete game changer...EKFC comfortable victory in the end but who knows what the outcome would have been. Hope CCs can successfully appeal that awful decision.

Kilbyfan
Great second half display tho-and that was without Sean Winters, who’s one of our best players. Ek looking pretty solid at the back and are now racking up the goals...just need Spartans to drop Three points-East Stirling home and away will be tough for them.
jinky
Yeah, did well against 10 men in 2nd half but didn’t look great in first 45 mins. IMO will need to play better over 90 mins and hopefully don’t read too much into the weekends result. Got a huge slice of luck with the CCs sending off and only then did they seem to believe they could win.
Kilbyfan
They never looked in danger of conceding in the first half, but yea the second half they really got the bit between their teeth. Kilby are definitely the on form team in the league the now-am very confident we can beat Cowdenbeath if....and it is a big if....we can see off Spartans and cove rangers

Love the pyramid playoffs and saw you guys miss out over the two legs last season. Be nice to see a repeat and two huge games to look forward too if so.
The_Judge
Just learned that Martin McBride has gone to Arthurlie under old Kilby boss Billy Ogilvie.
Kilbyfan
Good luck to him...he’s a good player but struggling to get a game-shows you how competitive things are now, which is good. As an aside, Looking at Spartans backlog of fixtures, I’d rather be in our position than theirs. Can’t see them beating (a still challenging) East Stirling home and away
The_Judge
The Spartans still very much in the driving seat. All we can do is make it as hard as possible for them by winning our remaining 4 games. They won't be looking forward to East Stirlingshire home and away but sometimes playing for a title can bring out the best in players.
