Mr. Brightside
Gotta love the wanky Germany #amf nonsense. So it's okay for BAYER Leverkusen? It's alright for Wolfsburg to be bankrolled by VW, Schalke by Gazprom, Dortmund by Evonik and for Ingolstadt by Audi. Then you have almost every single team selling their stadium naming rights "Alianz Area" "Signal Iduna Park" "Veltins Arena" "BayArena". Do f**k off. -

Salvo Montalbano
Bayer is a pharmaceutical company. Bayern with an n is the German name for Bavaria. And Leverkusen is nowhere near Bavaria, it's in North Rhine Westphalia near Köln and Dortmund (you pass the stadium as you drive between the two IIRC). Apart from that though...

RandomGuy.
Bayer never "got around" anything, the club name is older than the rule preventing sponsors having their name in the club name.

kenny131
All the media are calling them redbull liepzig so that will do for me. All I care about is we have unearthed a player who now has the platform at 19yrs old to go on and achieve everything he wants. Let's hope we get to see evolve into the player we all hope will be.
