Aberdeen vs St Johnstone

Our semi-final is the final. Not every club have a squad so well integrated it's like clairvoyance at times but we do. And thanks to these stupendous powers, they know there will be no final.

Hampden, Sunday, kick off 1415, match abandoned 1445, Glasgow wide martial law declared 1530. Extended to all of Central Scotland, Fife, Inverness and a single pub in Forres by 1815.

A week or so later when the TA are stood down and Joey Barton is exchanged for the remaining hostages, they'll quietly send either us or Morton the cup in the post.

Our players were just celebrating only having 1 more game between them and some silverware.

Well when you put together our ten league titles, our Scottish Cup win and our 52 league seasons spent in the top flight, then it becomes a quite obvious, historical fact that Greenock Morton are a much bigger club than the bumpkin outfit who just so happened to be good while your balls were dropping.

Which is why Morton will be playing our cup semi final at Hampden; whereas bumpkin outfits like "established top six side Saint Johnstone" accept their place in the food chain and surrender three ends of the ground to the opposition at Easter Road or Tynecastle in the same scenario.

They might have been a bigger club before World War 2, I'll give you that. Since then they have fallen from being a yo-yo club between the top 2 tiers to being a yo-yo club between the 2nd and 3rd tiers and even the 4th tier.

No top flight football since the eighties = smaller club than St Johnstone
