victor meldrew
Both Thornton and Kirrie will go up imo. Only the matter of who'll win the league. If I had to say one of them then I'd prob go with Kirrie. Neither team looks like slipping up though.
sniffer
And why may I ask do you think Kirriemuir
Griffin
It must be very frustrating for everyone at Thornton that the home Park is such a problem. Can nothing be done to sort out the issues? It seems every season whenever there is any rain games are off.
superbigal
Dont forget Thornton invested £20,000 on drainage work a few years ago. Clearly a homer with no warranty attached.
Griffin
It is hard work at this time of year. Newburgh pitch would have been doubtful if we had much rain overnight. Rolled yesterday and spiked in the hope that it didn't rain too much and it is fine this morning. An hour or two of rain and it wouldn't have been thoughI sympathise with Thornton as it is very frustrating when games are continually off
sniffer
Clearly none of the two nuggets no anything about thornton , superbigtit keeps on bringing this 20 grand drainage investment up, because there was no drainage put into the park , so superbigtit can u keep quite please on a subject u no feck all about, use just concentrate on the car boots sales, and as for u motomungo, ud be better buying a pair of skis or a snowboard by the looks of it, if people get there way it'll be Warout no more . sniffer
top four playing each other tomorrow, should be two good games, if it ever stops raining.
Kirrie fae the start
KIRRIE THISTLE 3-0 BLAIRGOWRIE Another great win and yet another clean sheet for Kirrie in what was to be fair a scrappy game. Blairgowrie have been our bogey team of late so was good to get the 3 valuable points. A goal right on half time from Darren Scott put Kirrie 1 up at the break and 2 more midway through the second half from him completed his hat trick. Game in hand and top of the league. hibby9
Lochee harp 0 4 hibs man sent off early doors for the hibs 4 scored still and probs should of been a few more but keeper made some fantastic saves. Couple of pens that the ref just waved on. Seen scone n luncarty drew witch will suit us and kirrie
hibby9
Hibs 5 0 Newburgh. Good game on a soft pitch should have been more but another clean sheet
Griffin
Thornton have some cracking players 7 and 10 stand out or me Newburgh's young side lost 3 goals in about 7 minutes around the half hour which was game over. Decent 2nd half with some cracking saves to keep Thornton down to 1 late goalAll the best to the Thornton lads for the run in
Buddy
That's the promotion hunt over now kirrie and Thornton will go up with games in hand now , been a good effort from scone and kinnoull , still hard games to play yet but can't see top two dropping many points now . Could all come down to Thornton v Kirrie game to see who go up as Champs. If teams were level @ end of season how would it be decided?
sniffer
It comes down to goal difference if the same on points, I ve been told thornton would like it to be the last game if it were possible and if it was going to be the league decider.
hibby9
Sniffer the thorton lads would rather play them next week and get them down level points. Think you have been sniffing glue. Maybe the management and comitee would like it last game for financial reasons and open the gentlemens club but us players would rather it sooner rather than later
hibby9
Another 3 points for the hibs and kirrie. And the fixture for Thornton v kirrie is in and it's in 3 weeks. Could be interesting. Both teams flying high and scoring goals and keeping clean sheets
