McDonald, who's on the bench, is a CM but he's an U20 player and hasn't featured in the first team. We desperately need a CDM but the budget is gone. Quinn is going through that classic phase when a player becomes better the longer he is out injured. Did Rae say once that Naismith could be tried at holding mid or was that some forum madness?
