Suspect this also meant that those that had bought a Season Ticket were going to end of having paid more.

Yeah that looks like what was happening, which makes slightly more sense. Good idea to drop the prices to try and attract more fans, but needs to be start of a season I suppose.

Scottish football seems determined to go down a route of banning any football below the premier League for the rest of the year.

I remember prior to the actual proper lockdown several Northern Premier League matches went ahead, whilst almost every other game in the UK got cancelled.

I'm hoping the same 'can do' attitude will still prevail for the coming season. I might need to nip down the A1 every weekend for my football fix.

I'm interested in football in the area. What's the motivation behind this, were Blue Star a viable club with a decent support? I know they got quite high up the pyramid, but had thought that was with money from benefactors.

Not sure if they've just pinched the name but they were taking a bus, sometimes 2 buses to away games last season. Kenny Wharton ex Newcastle United player is the manager. They have had some good fundraisers to help the club. How far they will go is anyone's guess but are a club worth looking out for over the next few seasons.

I will and I'll go if I'm in the town. The logic confuses me a bit though. If it's a project in need of a name there's plenty of clubs that would have taken their money.

If it's a revival by supporters it looks like an expensive one and I hope they don't overstretch.

I dont really know enough about them but looks to be community based for the West End of Newcastle. I just like the name  😄
