Often injured (which defeats the purpose of being a backup) and when he did play this year, he wasn't great (was excellent prior to that though). Seems like there's a cracking team spirit at Hibs these days and right good c***s like Fontaine are a big part of it. Can only imagine that comes into it for Lennon. Hopefully keeping him, rather than pushing the boat out on the likes of that Wilson means that we have further room to manoeuvre in other areas of the park where we are needing quality brought in. Hope Efe and Marciano are tied up shortly, as well as decisions on the last two contracts for Fyvie and Boyle to be made. Then we can start building in attack. Wouldn't quite say he was "brilliant" he was decent, as he has been for the last few weeks. Nowhere near what he is capable of. It remains to be seen whether he can do that at Hibs, but he goes with the best wishes of the majority of fans. What I will say is, even if he's not playing great, he'll still usually produce at least 1 moment of magic a game, which last night was his assist. Nothing else really came off for him, it's testament to how well he's played this season at times that a 6/10 performance is seen as a poor one.
