Rosyth will be playing their home game against Dunbar tomorrow 4/2/17 at Kelty Hearts ground  K.O 2.00pm.

All welcome, come and support us if you can.

What's the situation with moving to Ballingry temporarily? also, how long do you expect to wait for the new ground to be ready?

Pumpherston  have added centre half Marcus Millar on loan for rest of season from Broxburn Athletic.Welcome to the club Marcus.
Connor Shaw,Zander Murray and Ally McRitchie have all signed contract extentions until 2018.

Smashing piece of business getting Zander Murray signed up. Every time I see him he is comfortably the best player on the park and looks like he should be playing at a higher level.

Oakley 3 pumpherston 3
Oakley started great and went 1 up from Cele, pumpherston then equalised in minutes thru zander Murray I think then we scored again thru Cele then scored again thru sean Simpson, the game was end to end first half and was quality to watch, second half pumpherston battered us and we were lucky to get a draw in the end, feels like a loss but also feels like a lucky point if you know what I mean, think zander got all 3 goals although slight suspicion off offside for the third, unfortunately for us our centre half has a fractured tibia after today's game

Cost for Ballingry rent not financially viable as things currently stand ,you would be astonished at what was proposed. New pitch at Rosyth Fleet grounds has been promised but no timescale given. This does not really help us either. Tough times just now.

Rosyth 1-4 Dunbar

Sam Young, Chris King (3)

Dunbar showed today why they are up challenging for promotion but I believe final score does not do justice to Rosyth who played well but were lacking real firepower up front which has really been our problem this season. Refs decision to allow second goal was a game changer but these things happen and have to take it on the chin.

Two teams contributed to a good game in horrible conditions with the visitors coming out on top.

All the best to Dunbar and special thanks to their great gesture in contributing to facilitate the game taking place at Kelty, A fine bunch of committee and supporters .

Was it laddie Colquhoun that fractured his tibia.

Oakley 3 Pumpherston  3

Oakley  opened the lead after only 4 minutes Celentano  firing home, the lead only lasted  5 minutes as Murray fired home,Celentano regained the lead for the home side after 12 minutes. Oakley increased their lead through a Simpson header before the break.Second half Pumphy came out all guns blazing and Murray made it 3.2.Pumphy pushed for the equaliser an Trialist had a great effort but a deflection of the keeper sent his effort inches past the post. The equaliser finally came and no surprise it came from the right boot of Zander Murray to complete his hatrick and take his goal tally to 19 for the season. Oakley had a great opportunity to regain the lead a through ball found the striker on his own but a last ditch tackle from on loan Marcus Millar prevented  a goal.Pumphy pushed for the winner but to no avail. All the best to the Oakley defender Ross Colquhoun who fractured his tibia ,hope he has a speedy recovery.

Crossgates 1 Edinburgh United 3
Torrential downpour 2 hours before and up to ko left the park carrying a lot of surface water but ref set his standard for the day to the amusement ? Of both managers that the park was playable after 90 minutes it won't be playable for weeks thanks ref
Crossgates scored a good goal big forbes netting again from a cross from the right
Instead of building Crossgates allowed Edinburgh back into the game with a soft penalty that young Gabri scored off the rebound the initial strike being saved by Rab Wilson
United got another two goals one just before halftime making the second half a big climb for Crossgates
Second half Crossgates had a go but couldn't secure a second goal to put pressure on the visitors
Credit for both teams trying to play on a surface that by the end was just mud
Finally back to the referee normally not one for criticising refs but if your taking the fee at this level you should be able to at least keep up with play too many wrong calls for both teams simply to far away to get them correct mbe now a time to drop down a level where he could mbe keep up with play

Dunbar didnt reach the heights of the week before, but when you are chasing two good teams, it doesnt matter about the performance, only the points and they delivered. Getting tight at the top now .  Really hope Rosyth can overcome the problems they are facing as they are a good club and they are a decent side. Big weekend ahead for the teams at the top with Dunbar away to Livingston in another must win game, just to keep in touch ahead of the Scottish game, Blackburn will dispose of Kirkcaldy and Pumpherston are also in a pressure game against Lochgelly, who themselves are still clinging on and need a win to remain on the tails, but I feel the home team will come out on top. weather permitting.

IMHO thanks for your good wishes. Should be a right good battle between the top three for the promotion places and may the best teams prevail. Unfortunately Santa was unable to bring us the striker we so desperately need and this was really brought home by watching your attack in action on Saturday. All of the top three have very good strikers which helps deliver winning results and sets them apart from the rest of the division..

Not good, so what are your options for the remaining home games, try and get the use of other Junior grounds?
