AMC13
Match sharpness is one excuse I guess. Although these teams are shite at football.
HibeeJibee
Luxembourg's league and Armenia's league run from August to May like ours, so clearly that isn't the explanation or the solution. Some positive results flatly contradict the theory anyway - St Johnstone beating Rosenborg and Aberdeen beating Rijeka, for example, and Motherwell beating Aalesunds. Excellent result for Europa FC of Gibraltar incidentally to beat Pyunik 2-0. Two seasons ago they kept Vaduz to 1-0 at home and 3-0 away, then took a battering against Slovan Bratislava last season. However, this gives them a great chance of progressing to QR2... Over in CL the Gibraltar entrant has been Lincoln and two years ago they got a 1-0 win at home to HB of Torshavn, then last season beat Santa Coloma 2-1 (0-0 & 2-1) before losing fairly narrowly to the Danish champions (0-2 & 0-1). They have just come back from losing 2-1 at Flora Tallinn which gives them a good chance to progress. Gibraltar had already risen above Andorra and San Marino in the coefficient ranking but are limited by UEFA to 1 CL / 1 EL slots. Hopefully that will be revised in future if their representatives continue to perform adequately.
lichtie23
Good result for Hearts to see them progress. Hopefully Aberdeen can finish the job in Luxembourg tonight as well.

craigiemack
Currently watching a stream of Ordabasy (Kazakhstan) and Cukaricki (Serbia). 3-0 after 25 mins to Cukaricki, pretty mental game as every attack looks like a goal!

craigiemack
Absolutely brilliant game. It's interesting aswell how playing in Kazakhstan can effect teams, the heat and time zones etc as Kazakh teams tend to do really well at home but very poor away. Water breaks also seemed to half a massive impact on the game as the first half break seemed to interrupt the dominance of Cukaricki and similar happened in the second half as all the Ordabasy goals came after the water breaks where Cukaricki struggled to get going again where as Ordabasy seemed rejuvenated. Kazakh teams seem to be doing better in Europe. Hasn't really transfered to the national team yet though.

craigiemack
Incredible result for Connahs Quay winning 1-0 away to Stabaek from Norway to win the tie. Bala and Llanudno look to be going out though
jmothecat
Stabaek were the first football team I ever say play, in a friendly against a local amateur side. Loved Stabaek when I lived in Norway. Think I've still got an old Stabaek top somewhere from when I was part of their children's training team.

At the time of writing they've accrued as many or more coefficient points as any country outside the top 6 in the list, with the singular exception of Hungary! lichtie23
That should be Aberdeen into the next round. Don't think Hibs will be too disappointed with their 1st leg result

NorthernLights
West Ham 1-0 down on the night and 2-1 down on aggregate against Astra. Stadium sounds absolutely lifeless.
