Next up for Kilsyth is a home match v Cumbernauld Utd in the Exsel Sectional League Cup. Kick off at Duncansfield is 7pm.

Our recent record v Cumbernauld has been poor to say the least. Doesn't matter how either team is playing at the time Cumbernauld just seem to be a bogey team for us.

Kilsyth played some great stuff tonight beating Cumbernauld pretty convincingly tbh, Paul mcbride looks as if he is going to thrive on the service coming from the 2 wide men franny Kelly and Nicky prentice, Davidson up front with him is a cracking player too

Kilsyth 4-1 Cumbernauld. A great result considering we haven't beat them in 2 years. It should have been a much bigger scoreline but I'll take 4-1 any day. Goals from Gsry Kelly, Scott Davidson, Corey Pearson and birthday boy Paul Mcbride. Big Paul was outstanding this evening. Worked hard for 90 minutes and never gave the 'Nauld defense a moments peace. Cumbernauld scored with the last kick of the game to spoil the clean sheet.

Think we will score pleanty this season if we keep those attacking options. Prentice and Kelly on either wing and the much maligned Mcbride getting the service will shine this season. Looking better with each game the lad Davidson is quality too.  Early signs look promising,  still unsure of our best back 4 and a few options for centre mid beside Gary Kelly who for me is a shoe in every week . Here's hoping we can keep them together this season .
