This is an example of how the expanded tournament, and 3 teams possibly qualifying from the groups, has been bad for the tournament. Drawing, and even losing by a narrow margin against a big side, can be a positive result for teams. In the old format Austria would have had to come out in the last 20 minutes and make a game of it. You said he got the weight 'just right'. Which is quite clearly nonsense. It was a dreadful penalty. Failing to hit the target from a penalty is an absolute fail. Horrendous effort. See the Czech penalty the other day for an actually good penalty. Shearer claiming he's missed five of his last 6. If Portugal's manager had a pair he'd have told him he was off the pens. Just not the direction, which from 12 yards out, from a dead ball, with no-one but the keeper ahead of him, is a little bit shite. Norway had scored only one goal though and hence finished bottom and went out. The other three went through. I like the new format. It means going into the last group games 20 out of 24 teams still have something to play for. Only Spain, France and Italy have qualified for the next round and only Ukraine have been knocked out.
