Delighted, if quite surprised, by that win today.

Although we seem to have one squad who play in the FK postcode and one that plays away games.

Good result. League obviously out of reach but maybe shire can go on and lift the South Challenge cup. Big cup tie next week at BSC Glasgow

After 10 minutes today it was clear there was only going to be one winner with the bonus of three top class goals, is there a bigger liability than Reece Donaldson in the Lowland league?

He was the biggest liability in the east super league last season also. Surprised he still gets a game higher than district league football!

A return to Firs Park would be brilliant for the Shire. Ochilview is a complete dumb and the stewards are total arseholes.

Is there enough space at Firs Park to meet the minimum SFA size for the pitch ?

As an alternative ground, how about seeking a joint venture with Dunipace Juniors to share and develop Westfield Park in Denny ?

The question is probably more where the money would come from to build or develop anything there or elsewhere in what can sensibly be termed East Stirlingshire.  Doubt there are any easy answers on that or it would probably already have happened by now.

Dunipace already have their own plans to develop Westfield, I'm sure the extra income from the Shire renting it would be welcome. Grangemouth makes more sense for the Shire.

Yea - FK 4 !   Shire needs some permanency soon if the club is to survive, and sharing the dreaded Ochilview is not a  long term solution. Has Westfield Park ever been considered - it is not much further away than Larbert, and seems to have some potential for improvement.

A Firs Park return seems as unlikely as ever, and would be dead in the water if the size of the pitch can't comply.  Little Kersh also dead ? Other alternatives ?

"West" Stirlingshire - so what, its a lot better than Clydebank !  There are a number of British clubs whose ground is now outside their original City boundary.  Shire must survive !

If East Stirling can’t develop the old firs park then they need to be looking at working in partnership with another club. Camelon have the desire to put an astro downwind working with another club would be a win/win for both clubs. However if they are not careful I fear there may not be a club to support if they don’t act soon.
