Dead
Yes. Your corect on both the League title in 47/48 and the Cup win the Victory Cup Qualifying Tournament (though there was no trophy). Given these are so long ago that is why we treasure those rare Shire Cup wins since the1940's so much.
HibeeJibee
Cheers. Oh aye, I'm not disparaging those Stirlingshire Cup titles for a moment. I wish more people would take the Fife and EOS cups more seriously.

luggy
Great battling performance yesterday on a terrible pitch, I think Vale need to swap with the team next door as their pitch looked far superior.

I have a hunch it will be Andy Grant tomorrow but it's just a hunch.
Dead
In the whole of our history we have never taken this approach before and got management and players on board for the next season this far out. Seriously this miles and miles into new territory. I personally think it is a great thing given the turmoil the club has gone through season after season for the last 15 odd years. Plans take time and we now have that. Edited December 19, 2016 by Dead Very bad spelling !
Dead
Had another thought. Actuality when the Steadman's took over at Firs Park in the late 1950's they put in place a plan over the next few seasons to sign up key players for a successful promotion push which ultimately happened in 1962/63. A different type of planning with the same end aim. Still this super early re-signing on management and players really is something new. Yeah I know in the past we had players on 2 years contracts etc but that again is different.
