Going for 55 IMO

Bikey will be a free, as his contract as a professional expires on Sunday, according to a few Stirling Albion fans

Bikey was signed on an Amateur contract by us and has a clause saying he can leave on the 23 Jan to sign for another club NOT in League 2. Clearly any Club wishing to sign him on a pro contract will have to pay his former Club Dieppe a compensation fee which I understand is 40k.

This boy is now apparently on trial at Hibs. He's quick so I'd sign him tbh.

How has Cammy Smith been for you guys? Allegedly we are interested.

Done well when he's played.  Not played a great deal as we have at least one better option in his preferred (and best) position.

Can't see Murray accepting the ICT pre-contract as we could both be in the championship next season and think he'd rather stay with us. But if other clubs for premiership came in for him, and we didn't go up wouldn't have anything against him wanting to play in higher league.

Can't see him moving away to that club abroad, to much of a risk

Yeah a move to Socialist Soviet Republic of Transnistiria is hardly appealing, IMO

Spoiler

Before some one says racist, Sherriff play their home matches there

Still a week or so to go but it looks like a pretty underwhelming transfer window. I'm still not overly concerned, I think we have enough to navigate the rest of the league season but it is the playoff games that will be the ultimate test and we are still short of at least two players.

I don't think Murray will end up in Inverness, it would be strange move for him. If he wants to give overseas a go then fair play to him. We should be offering him an extension regardless.

There is no such thing as an amateur "contract". By definition is he is amateur, which presumably he is, there is no contract. An amateur registration runs to 30th June. It cannot be limited to anything shorter. There may of course be a gentlemans agreement to cancel it on 23rd Jan and not to go to League 2 club. I doubt it can actually be enforced though.
