He is more of a central player but is being played on the right because he has a good engine, will be willing to get forward and is pretty solid defensively. By comparison we signed McGowan for free I think and sold him after a year for about £300k. That's the nature of being a provincial Scottish club. invergowrie arab Posted August 21, 2016 Share Posted August 21, 2016 I thought toshney was abysmal against Dumbarton and while I like how he gets forward he wasn't immune from the odd brain fart in defense yesterday either. The comparison with McGowan is good one. I went from being seething with him in his first dozen games to wanting him to be club captain so here's hoping it's similar.
