Was never going to happen. Hodgson clearly likes him and plays him all the time.

Maybe if they had been relegated but that's not happening now.

Keepers take time to settle and get used to their team mates, giving Alnwick a contract and a longer better opportunity to show what he has got could only improve Rangers as a football team. Jak Alnwick's performance in the League Cup Semi-Final still makes me smile.
